Three Doors In My House

First: The Door of Release – I let go of everything in order to create a space for the Mystery of the Presence of Divine Love.
Second: The Door of Reception – I receive the light of Divine Love. I become that Divine Love. I unite with Divine Love. There is nothing else.
Third: The Door of Return – I return to Heaven on Earth. I return to ONE SPIRIT BEING, embodied, knowing it again, now for the first time.
So, you see, there are three doors in my house. Inside there is a labyrinth, and I walk in and out, meeting everyone once again, for the very first time.

the last shaman.

Catherine Stone speaks with SHCN today.

Catherine spoke about four things:
1) What it's been like to be lost;
2) What it's been like to face the inner world of trauma and healing;
3) The inspiration of other people;
4) The cracking open of the divine feminine.

"To be able to be here to share a story,
I want to talk to you, as if I was talking to each one of you individually. This is what it's been like.
being present...
being here...
being in an exchange.
I can become all the different things I AM,
because I am honest."

HONESTY TALKING

The whole thing is SPIRIT talking:

"To be able to be here to share a story,
I want to talk to you, as if I was talking to each one of you individually. This is what it's been like.
being present...
being here...
being in an exchange.
I can become all the different things I AM,
because I am honest." (Catherine Stone)

A simple, yet effective start to healing.

LISTEN.
Just listen, and do nothing else.
This is the great challenge for the urban dweller.
Cut out all the noise, and listen to what is behind the noise.
Can I do it?
Will I do it.
Just try.

Listen.

HEALTHYSELF

Shamanic Research tells me that we are able to say:
The HEALER is able to look into the OTHER, because there is no OTHER.
The HEALER is able to step beyond the many and into the ONE.
HEALTHYSELF is most profound.
There is no-one else to heal.

BECOMING THE MEDICINE Sun Oct 19

Some of you have expressed an interest in this teaching and joining the monthly circle that meets to practice it.

The teaching will be offered on Sun Oct 19.

I'm writing to invite you to a full day of shamanic journeying in preparation for BECOMING THE MEDICINE, based on Sandra Ingerman’s MEDICINE FOR THE EARTH: HOW TO TRANSFORM PERSONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL TOXINS.
Over the last few years this approach to healing has consistently shown it’s potential to reverse environmental pollution in water. And.....We are mostly water. The work of Japanese researcher and photographer, Masaru Emoto is illustrative of the possibilities. And…..the impact of the work on humans has been sufficient to interest the University of Michigan Medical School. They began researching its effectiveness with a population who have cardiovascular conditions in a study which commenced in February, 2005, and the preliminary results are very positive.

Sandra Ingerman was invited to present the work to a group at the United Nations in July, 2006.

If you want to consider this teaching, to prepare yourself for the process, it’s helpful to look at Sandra Ingerman’s book, "Medicine for the Earth: How to Transform Personal and Environmental Toxins."

Additional information can be found at http://www.medicinefortheearth.com

Once you’ve been initiated into the work, depending on your situation at any given time, you can come out to offer healing or to receive healing, at ongoing monthly gatherings. The cost for these gatherings for healing, journey work and research purposes is $10.00.

Sandra, who developed and pioneered this work, has been in my life as a teacher since 1996, and I’ve been involved in the Medicine for the Earth work with her since before her book about it was published in 2000. In that year Sandra invited me to join an international alliance of teachers she is building to bring the work to the communities we live in.

The cost for the orientation is $100.00.

The time is 10:00am to 6:00pm.

The location is Toronto.

Please give this your consideration, and if you’d like to know more, or to register, you’re welcome to contact me at 416 536 7424 or jeannette@shamansong.ca . Have a look closer to the end of this message for additional details.

The teaching can also be arranged for your particular circle of friends, or colleagues or practitioners, in Toronto or elsewhere.

Additional information about my other shamanic healing and teaching work is available at www.shamansong.ca .

I look forward to hearing from you when the time is right.

Sincerely,

The transformation is the resurrection.

We become a new creation, a transformation of what was to what is.

Hans Kung speaks to this in Eternal Life:
Is it then a bodily resurrection, a raising up of man with his body? yes and no. No, if we understand "body" in physiological terms as this actual body, the "corpse, " the remains." Yes, if "body" is understood in the New Testament sense as "soma," not so much physiologically as personally: as the identical personal reality, the same self with its entire history, which is mistakenly neglected in the Buddhist doctrine of reincarnation, even though the latter stresses the new (admittedly earthly) corporality. When we talk of the resurrection of the body, we mean then as the Catholic theologian Franz Josef Nocke expresses it, "that not only man's naked self is saved through death, when all earthly history is left behind, all relationships with other human beings become meaningless; bodily resurrection means that a person's life history and all the relationships established in the course of this history enter together into the consummation and finally belong to the risen person." (Eternal Life, Doubleday, 1984, p. 111).

Mandaza Speaks

The Myth of the Eternal Return

Eliade started to write The Myth of the Eternal Return in 1945, in the aftermath of World War II, when Europe was in ruins, and Communism was conquering Eastern European countries. The essay dealt with mankind's experience of history and time, especially the conceptions of being and reality. According to Eliade, in modern times people have lost their contact with natural cycles, known in traditional societies. Eliade saw that for human beings their inner, unhistorical world, and its meanings, were crucial. Behind historical processes are archaic symbols. Belief in a linear progress of history is typical for the Christian world view, which counters the tyranny of history with the idea of God, but in the archaic world of archetypes and repetition the tyranny of history is accepted. Stoics created from the concept of the eternal cycle a theory which embraced the whole universe. Eliade contrasts the Western linear view of time with the Eastern cyclical world view. In the 19th century Nietzsche's criticism of Christian dogmas brought back the idea of the eternal cycle to Western discussion. These ideas were further developed by Oswald Spengler in his study The Decline of the West (1918-1922).

Shamanism (Definition)

Shamanism refers to a range of traditional beliefs and practices concerned with communication with the spirit world. A practitioner of shamanism is known as a shaman. There are many variations of shamanism throughout the world; following are beliefs shared by all forms of shamanism:[1]
Spirits exist and they play important roles both in individual lives and in human society.
The shaman can communicate with the spirit world.
Spirits can be good or evil.
The shaman can treat sickness caused by evil spirits.
The shaman can employ trance inducing techniques to incite visionary ecstacy.
The shaman's spirit can leave the body to enter the supernatural world to search for answers.
The shaman evokes animal images as spirit guides, omens, and message-bearers.
Shamanism is based on the premise that the visible world is pervaded by invisible forces or spirits which affect the lives of the living. In contrast to organized religions like animism or animatism which are lead by priests and which all members of a society practice, shamanism requires individualized knowledge and special abilities. Shaman operate outside established religions, and, traditionally, they operate alone. Shaman can gather into associations, as Indian tantric practitioners have done.

Welcome to The Last Shaman

This blog is a place to record shaman stories.

The shaman is the one who is able to see beyond this world and into the world of the future.
In this time of the great turning, from anthropocentric to eco-logical, we all become shamans.
